**Before your appointment, submit your genealogy or local history question using the Research Questions form below.** Include full names, Birth/Marriage/Death info, the specific event you are interested in learning about, addresses, sources you have already looked at, etc. We can make the most of your time at the Dyer if we have this information in advance, Please schedule your appointment seven (7) days in advance. Click here to book your appointment! The Dyer closes promptly at 3:00 pm. Walk-ins are welcome to take a self-guided tour to learn about Abington, Rockland and Whitman's fascinating history. We cannot provide research assistance to walk-ins at this time. |

First Time Visitors
Those making their first research appointment to the Dyer Memorial Library & Archives must fill out a registration form and present a current photo ID.
Public access is restricted to designated areas in the building.
Researchers may bring personal computers, personal notebooks and folders into the library. These must be presented to staff upon arrival. Pencils are available.
The Dyer Staff reserves the right to search any and all personal belongings upon entry and exit of the library.
