Cemeteries in Abington, Rockland and Whitman
The Cemeteries of Abington by Ida R. Totman of Rockland : Paper Prepared for The Bicentennial of Abington, 1912 The Cemeteries of Abington, a.k.a., "Ida Totman Cemetery Book," is a 28-page manuscript that identifies the locations of the cemeteries in Old Abington, that after 1874 included the Towns of Abington, Rockland, and Whitman. Totman refers to historical events in Old Abington, individuals, and provides selected epitaphs. Years after this "book" was published, Martha Campbell supplemented the manuscript by providing a map with cemetery locations. |
