Material Donations

The Dyer's collection contains thousands of objects, photographs and hundreds of linear feet of archival material including letters, diaries, and other personal papers as well as yearbooks and genealogy materials. The collection has grown through the generosity and support of individuals and organizations that have donated items since the the Dyer’s founding in 1932.

History happened moments ago, not just in the 1700s and 1800s. Abington, Rockland and Whitman are facing an enormous memory hole that documents life in the towns since the late 1970s to the present. That seems like yesterday to many but in reality, 50 years have passed!

The Dyer needs your help filling in this gap of our shared history. Unfortunately, we cannot accept "born digital" items, so we appreciate your providing us with printed documents and photos.

If you have material relating to Abington, Rockland and Whitman that you would like to give to the Dyer, please contact us!
